About the Role

We are looking for a Software Developer / Mid-Senior to join our engineering team.

You will work on real-world CRM, ERP, EMS, SaaS, E-commerce, and AI-powered systems, contributing to both frontend and backend development.

This role is suitable for a developer who can work independently, understand business requirements, build production-ready features, and take ownership of modules.

You will work closely with Product, QA, AI, and DevOps teams to build reliable and scalable software.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.
Develop backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and Prisma.
Design and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
Work with Microservices Architecture and service-to-service communication.
Work with PostgreSQL, including schema design, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
Develop business modules for CRM, ERP, EMS, and SaaS products.
Work on multi-tenant SaaS architecture and data isolation.
Integrate third-party services and AI-powered features.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Debug and resolve development and production issues.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
Take ownership of assigned modules from development to deployment.
Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

Frontend

Strong experience with React.js.
Good experience with Next.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
Understanding of modern frontend architecture and state management.

Backend

Strong experience with Node.js.
Experience with NestJS.
Experience with Prisma ORM.
Good understanding of REST API development.
Authentication, authorization, validation, and API security.

Microservices — Required

Practical understanding of Microservices Architecture.
Experience working with multiple services or modular backend systems.
Understanding of service boundaries and inter-service communication.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture or message brokers is a plus.

Database

Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
Database schema design and relationships.
Indexing and query optimization.
Understanding of transactions and data consistency.

Domain Knowledge — Must Have

Practical understanding of at least the following business domains is required:

CRM
ERP
EMS
SaaS

You should be comfortable understanding common business workflows such as:

Customer and lead management
Sales and orders
Inventory
Purchase and suppliers
Accounting / finance
HR and employee management
Roles and permissions
Reports and dashboards
Multi-tenant SaaS operations

You don't need to be an expert in every domain, but you should understand how business requirements translate into software features and workflows.

Engineering & Development Practices

Good understanding of Git and Git workflows.
Experience with code reviews.
Familiarity with unit and integration testing.
Understanding of clean code and maintainable architecture.
Good debugging and problem-solving ability.
Ability to break down larger requirements into manageable tasks.
Experience with Docker is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD is a plus.

AI & Modern Development

We actively use AI tools in our development workflow.

You should be comfortable using AI tools for:

Code generation
Debugging
Refactoring
Code review
Documentation
Test generation
Understanding existing codebases
Automating repetitive development tasks

Experience with AI-powered application development or AI agents is a plus.

Can understand both technical and business requirements.
Are comfortable working with existing codebases.
Can communicate clearly with developers and other teams.
Are interested in growing toward a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead role.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (BD Time)

Salary: BDT 30,000 – 50,000 / month
